My Involvement

I worked as the Lead Designer on Introspect. During my time on the project I conceptualized, designed and communicated a unique and creative game concept to a team of around 20 people. In addition to these roles I did much of the in-editor design work ranging from creation of puzzles and gameplay sequences to scripting AI. I also managed a team of designers, oversaw testing sessions, created art assets, and more.

This experience has taught me much about not only game design and development, but team work, scheduling, communication and leadership. I believe that the end product shows that the team came together and created something we can all be proud of.

Reception

Introspect has been lucky enough to receive a warm critical reception. In addition to praises from many who have played it, it has gained the following accolades:

- EA Reveal Contest 2007 – Game & Level Design Winner
- The Elans CAEAA 2007 - Best Student Art Direction Finalist
- Named one of the Top 52 Free Games of '07 by Gaming for Windows Magazine
- Named one of the Top 101 Free Games of '07 by 1up.com
